M (#16 in green) playing the last game of the season with the Mite Stars.  M scored his first official recorded goal in a game and was the only 7 year old on his team to score all year!

An unseasonably warm day for March in Northern Illinois.  A high of 78.  It was beautiful and perfect for some outdoor hockey!

M's basketball program ended today.  It was a rush for us to get there because he also had a playoff game for hockey this morning as well (not looking good where that is concerned as we are currently 0-2 in the playoffs which is weird because we did so well in the regular season!)  Anyway here is a picture of M and his Dad the coach!

A pre-game haircut followed by carb loading at Trattoria.  Unfortunately the pre-game ritual didn't work and his team lost the game.  :(

This, or some variation of this, is what the trunk of my car constantly contains and it's pretty representative of my life at the moment.  Some form of sports equipment, binders and catalogs for house related projects and books.

Day 57

Gearing up at home.  Today is a half ice day in hockey which means the locker rooms are a nightmare.  On these days, M likes to gear up mostly at home.

 Here is a shot of Michael at Basketball practice today.  He scored two baskets today!  He also played a full ice hockey game.  My sports loving boy.
