This, or some variation of this, is what the trunk of my car constantly contains and it's pretty representative of my life at the moment.  Some form of sports equipment, binders and catalogs for house related projects and books.

Gearing up at home.  Today is a half ice day in hockey which means the locker rooms are a nightmare.  On these days, M likes to gear up mostly at home.

Well, after a night away downtown and a sleepover with his best buddy, M was back to reality today studying his spelling words.

Due to an impending snow storm and the fact that we had Blackhawks tickets, we decided to make a spontaneous trip and stay downtown over night.  M and I were pretty excited and had a great time!

I really love when the small moments happen and you can see them for what they are and enjoy them.  This morning, the snow was falling, something we haven't seen much of this winter.  M took the time to sit and watch for a while so I stopped rushing around getting ready for the day and sat with him to watch.  It was the best!

Here is my new bathtub in it's new home.  Yesterday, Bill was off from work, so we used the entire day to work on the new house.  It was exhausting, but we were able to accomplish a ton.

 Here is a shot of Michael at Basketball practice today.  He scored two baskets today!  He also played a full ice hockey game.  My sports loving boy.

oops!  I almost forgot to take a picture today, but I remembered at the last minute.  I received my new magazines in the mail today and that's always exciting.  Sort of.

It's Valentines Day, but we didn't do much celebrating.  It was, however, Michael's last day of school basketball.  He was very proud to receive his certificate.

After Michael's hockey practice on Saturday night, we grabbed a quick dinner at Noodles and Company and then went to see Journey 2 Mysterious Island.  Michael really enjoyed the movie.

I've been trying to watch how much we spend at the grocery store so I've been keeping up with store sales and coupons.  The above grocceries were bought for just around $100.  I think I did pretty good considering I bought pop, chips, cereal, meat eddy's ice cream...
